Frequently asked questions
Each order comes with full instructions, but simply:
• If you choose to add a microdose, crush the truffle finely into a paste (no chunks) and scoop it into the large tea bag.
• Tie the bag into a knot to keep everything inside.
• Place it in a large teapot, add hot water (below 100°C)
• Let steep for at least 5 minutes.
• Pour into cups and enjoy.
It depends on the group size. One large tea bag can make up to 3 litres of tea — usually enough for a small group. If you want everyone to enjoy multiple cups, you may need 2 tea bags.
When it comes to the dose, we recommend around 2 g of truffle per person for a good social experience. Each tea bag can comfortably mask up to 4 g of truffle. For example:
• 6–8 people → use 2 tea bags, each with ~4 g added.
• Very large groups → give each person their own tea bag with their own dose to put in each persons cup.
You can find truffle tea bags available under Truffles in the shop menu.
Yes. You can drink it all at once, share with others, or split it over 2 days. Leftover tea can be kept in the fridge for 2–3 days, or frozen in an airtight container.
Yes, but most people find one session is enough. If you’d like more, brew a second pot or re-steep the bag for a lighter second round. We don't recommend having more than 2 tea bags a day.
Yes. Blends without caffeine (like Mellow Fellow or Dreamland) are safe before bed. Caffeinated blends (like Morning Shine or Evening Groove) are best enjoyed earlier in the day.
Yes, all our blends can make delicious cold brews. We share recipes on our Instagram.
Steep the tea bag as normal, then add cold water, sparkling or still. Add additional sweetness to make it even more delicious.
Each pack contains either one large tea bag (for a shared pot) or, in some blends like Dreamland and Moonlight, multiple smaller bags for solo rituals. Every pack includes instructions and details can be found on each product description page.
The tea bags can last over a year. The microdoses of truffle only last about 3 months when kept in the fridge (not freezer). They all have an expiry date on them, and sometimes last longer than the date.
To know if your truffles have expired, check the colour and smell. If they've turned very dark black (no brown) and have a funky smell, they have expired and wont be potent anymore.
• Tea bags → Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
• Truffles → Always keep sealed truffles in the fridge to stay fresh. Do not freeze them — they’ll burn and lose potency.
Once you open the vacuum-sealed truffle pack, they’ll last only 2–4 days in the fridge. We recommend using the full truffles at once and saving any leftover brewed liquid in the fridge for 2–3 days.
