In this series of posts, we talked with some of our customers on their experience with Happy Tea. Check all our customer interviews here.

What's your microdosing experience prior?
"I didn’t know that much about microdosing before I discovered Happy Tea. I had heard about the term microdosing before, but for some reason it didn’t really resonate with me at that time. A few weeks ago, a friend of mine started talking about her interest in microdosing and brought up the Happy Teas. It got me interested this time so I thought that I should give it a shot. Divine timing? Maybe :)"
How has Happy Tea impacted you?
"I’m a performing artist and what I noticed is that I had a lot more energy and focus. When microdosing I noticed that this over-analyzing voice was a lot less prominent. It became more quiet in my head, which made space for a lot more clarity about what I wanted. I could differentiate MY thoughts from those of this inner critic. This was really cool, because it made me realise that not all of my thoughts, especially the ones that don’t serve me, are mine."
What are your thoughts on microdosing now?
"With the “overthinker” a lot more quiet, I was able to stay very close to myself and my own needs. I felt very at peace in my body, if that makes sense. I had this feeling of: “This is me and I am good. I don’t have to convince others. I don’t even want to do that so why should I?”. This in turn gave me a lot a lot of energy.
I felt much more free and felt very present. I found appreciation for simple things, which caused me to feel very happy. I noticed that I enjoyed music a lot more too."
Have you tried Happy Tea in a social setting? If so, describe your experience compared to alcohol.
"Since I felt so calm and stable within myself, I felt more free to do what I wanted to do, even in social settings. These fun things like dancing, laughing with and talking and listening to others, came naturally. With alcohol you can also feel more free, but I feel like you kind of lose this sense of control over your body and who you are. This in combination with possible hangovers just make alcohol not worth it for me."
What would you say to a first-time microdoser?
"If it resonates with you, I’d suggest you just try it out! Make it a whole ritual if you want with affirmations, good music and (if you want) someone you feel comfortable with."
