Damiana (Turnera diffusa): A Spanish missionary first reported that the Mexican Indians made a drink from the damiana leaves, added sugar, and drank it for its purported power to enhance lovemaking. Damiana has a long historical use in traditional herbal medicine around the world, being used as a classic tonic for depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, debilitation, bed-wetting, menstrual irregularities, gastric ulcers, and constipation. Since 1888, Damiana has been recorded within scientific literature and was traditionally used by Doctors between 1888-1940 to improve sexual function in both males and females, as well as for its positive effects on the reproductive organs.
Maca root: The studies done on maca are convincing. Multiple studies have shown that consuming maca increases subjective reports of sexual desire. It can also help with SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction. This is done without adjusting testosterone or estrogen levels, which proves that our libido can come from our brains. The effects of maca are much more significant when taken on a regular basis.
Cordyceps militaris: A medicinal fungi used for centuries, cordyceps increases the body’s production of the molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is essential for delivering energy to the muscles. It has also shown the potential for inhibiting inflammation-related events and supporting the adrenal and reproductive organs, improving cellular energy production and oxygenation for holistic as well as libido-enhancing benefits. Fun story: This remarkable mushroom first caught the attention of researchers in the 1990s when the Chinese Women’s Track and Field team at the Chinese National Games in 1993 broke 9 world records by substantial margins. At first, governing sports authorities suspected that a performance-enhancing drug had been used and they stripped the women of their medals. However, their success was credited to Cordyceps and subsequent testing proved the women were indeed drug-free (Digby, Ernst, and Mukharji, 2010).

The morning shine latte blend tastes great, and I did feel some sustained energy and focus. I added 1-2g truffle to explore any creative boost that might offer, the effects were very subtle, but I did experience a generally pleasant mood throughout the day. Would recommend both products.

I felt like a mild kick, a very nice feeling of connection with people and with music, it felt like feeling tipsy on good wine, but with the mushroom high sensation.
