Gaba Oolong - GABA Oolong tea is a unique variety of oolong that undergoes a special processing method to boost the concentration of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a natural amino acid that functions as a neurotransmitter inhibitor in the brain. The production involves a distinctive nitrogen fixation process, stimulating tea leaves to convert glutamic acid to GABA. Known for its calming effects on the nervous system, it's also associated with potential health benefits, including reducing anxiety, improving sleep quality, and lowering blood pressure. It works by lowering the impact unwanted emotions like anxiety and stress can have on our brain and body. GABA is naturally found in various foods like brown rice, soybeans, chestnuts, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and more.
5-HTP - comes naturally from the seed pods of the plant Griffonia simplicifolia and is a naturally occurring amino acid in our bodies. It's used as a nootropic substance, which is a substance that enhances cognitive function and promotes feelings of well-being. It also affects appetite, sleep cycles and pain perception.

The morning shine latte blend tastes great, and I did feel some sustained energy and focus. I added 1-2g truffle to explore any creative boost that might offer, the effects were very subtle, but I did experience a generally pleasant mood throughout the day. Would recommend both products.

I felt like a mild kick, a very nice feeling of connection with people and with music, it felt like feeling tipsy on good wine, but with the mushroom high sensation.
